ENFUSE: Safer Student Communities
A Depth-Core Product developed in partnership with Surrey Safe Schools and the Surrey RCMP
The Idea
ENFUSE was developed around a set of core themes that inspired many areas of the program. Keeping these themes as the focus, it offered a purpose and a goal as we worked towards the final outcome.
- Social responsibility - The idea of ENFUSE is centered around Social Responsibility. If a student knows of suspicious activities it is their responsibility to report it.
- Intervention - When a tip is received it gives the principal or the RCMP a chance to intervene into the situation. Perhaps the place where we will see the most success in this program is with stopping bullies while they are young. Intervention at a young age can change the path of a student's life.
- Community - The website helps create a sense of community among students while they share their ideas on common interests and participate in engaging contests and quizzes.
