Depth-Core

ENFUSE: Safer Student Communities

A Depth-Core Product developed in partnership with Surrey Safe Schools and the Surrey RCMP

How it Works

"You always heard the same thing: this child heard about it, but didn't say anything about it."
Theresa Campbell, Safe Schools Manager for Surrey School District, on violent incidents in schools.

  • Theresa Campbell came up with the idea to allow students to submit tips about bullying and other suspicious activities online. She was aware of the fact that young people in the elementary and high school age groups are very comfortable sharing information online.
  • Theresa brought her idea to Depth-Core Web Solutions after hearing about our success in an initiative to bring art created by Surrey students online (http://www.youthvisions.ca/)
  • The project team consists of Depth-Core Web Solutions, Theresa Campbell, the Surrey RCMP, and several secondary students; it is a team passionate about the idea of promoting safety in Surrey schools.
  • A strong, working partnership with the RCMP was critical for the site to become as successful as it has.

  • Depth-Core Web Solutions hosts the software on our secure servers, providing SSL based access to prevent unauthorized users from snooping on information such as passwords or tip information.
